I'm so torn about whether I want to watch this show or not. I love Hope, Josie, and Lizzie, but I'm so over being burned by Julie Plec. I don't know if I want to put myself through that torture again.

I totally agree with you, Sydney! I feel 100% the same way. I am really scared it will start out good like Plec's shows usually do and then quickly turn to pot.

I know Alaric has twin daughters who are only two years younger than Hope and that he's known her since she was eight, but in a teaser for the show I was picking up on a little bit of an Alaric/Hope vibe. I know the show won't go there and that the pilot only just aired, but there's still a part of me that sees the ship potential with these two.

Oh yes, Hope and Ric have chemistry! I just watched the first episode almost against my will haha But they definitely have something.
I love Lizzie! She's adorable and reminds me so much of Caroline!
