Unfortunately, I can't go as in depth about this episode as I would like to right now so I'll keep it relatively simple for the time being. I loved this episode. It was such a perfect series premiere. The writers did an incredible job of bringing us into the sisters' world and setting up not only this incredible supernatural world, but also each sister's personality and back story. This was truly a well-crafted episode designed to bring the viewer along with the Halliwells on this fantastic, scary new journey as they discovered a part of their lives they didn't know existed. The actors and actresses all did incredibly good jobs as well. You really feel the emotions with each new development, particularly with Holly Marie Combs.

I totally agree with you. I remember watching the episode when it first aired so vividly (lord, I'm old ). It has stuck with me all of these years as did other episodes and seasons of the show. I would say this episode though is one of the most iconic! I agree about Holly Marie. I thought when Jeremy attacked Piper in the elevator, she played it perfectly. I would have been freaking clean out (hell I would have passed out) and while Piper was scared and upset, she still handled her business. Such a strong woman, even in the beginning!
